Someone to fill Michigan’s 4th District seat
On August 5th, registered voters in the area will go to the polls and vote in the Michigan Primary. They will be casting a vote for someone to fill Michigan’s 4th District seat in Washington currently occupied by Dave Camp, who is retiring from office.
There are three Republicans (Peter Konetchy, Paul Mitchell, and John Moolenar) running against each other in the August primary, each hoping to be the one chosen to be on the upcoming ballot in November.
All three had the opportunity July 8th to participate in a debate at the Wilson Center. Only Konetchy and Moolenar showed up.
It was very well-attended, and judging by the number of occurrences of applause during the event, the audience favored the comments given by candidate Peter Konetchy over John Moolenar. Over and over again, Konetchy stressed the need to get Washington out of our everyday lives, and our emails, phone calls, classrooms, farms and doctor’s offices. The list could go on for a long time, could it not?
Please vote for Pete Konetchy August 5th, and give him the chance to join those few Republicans in Washington who see the need for change.
