Craig says thanks, and free market/free country
I wish to take this opportunity to thank the voters of the City of St. Johns for electing me to the City Commission on November 5. I was pleased in being elected to a four-year term, receiving 827 votes, second only to Mayor Dana Beaman, who tallied 886 votes.
I am optimistic about the future of the City of St. Johns and pledge to work hard on your behalf to make this a better community and to manage our tax dollars wisely. If anyone has issues or questions about the City of St. Johns government, please contact me so I may be of service.
Finally, I wish everyone “Happy Holidays!”
Sincerely,
Bob Craig
City Commissioner

Free Market/ Free Country
Have you ever stopped to consider that it is impossible to claim to be living in a free country, if you aren’t truly enjoying the many benefits of living in a free market?
In a free country it is “We the People” who decide what products and services are bought in the market place and what charities are funded by the dollars we choose to spend or give.
Under tyranny, it is the government that is comprised of a few select ‘elite’ members of high society that determines what factories are built, what services are available and which charities will be funded.
Unfortunately, America is looking less like a free country everyday.
Under Obamacare we will be forced by our government through our tax dollars (and threats of fines and imprisonment) to fund abortions, no matter how sinful it is to God and ourselves.
It was the free market that built our strong industrial and charitable heritage, not our shameless Democrats and Republicans who are much better known for wild spending, supporting special interests and lobbyists, bridges to nowhere and a bureaucracy gone mad.
We must immediately reign in our socialized government, before our government destroys our country and us all!
