The Gift of Volunteerism
We appreciate all of our volunteers who have the heart to make a difference in their community through Habitat for Humanity. Our work as the largest fundraising effort in Clinton County is made possible by our volunteers. On Tuesday, November 26th Crop Production Services of Henderson participated in their annual employee volunteer initiative. 21 employees volunteered with a ReStore pick up in Owosso. The volunteers cleaned out an estate, which filled 2 ½ truckloads full of miscellaneous building supplies.
“This type of volunteerism is essential because such a large pickup would not have been possible without their help.” says Ruth Clark, ReStore Manager.

What does the ReStore in St. Johns do? The ReStore provides a way for volunteers to support the mission of Habitat without swinging a hammer. Run by two part-time employees and numerous volunteers, the ReStore accepts donated furniture, appliances and building materials for resale. The funds generated through the ReStore help fund the construction and renovation of homes. Integral to the success of the ReStore are the dedicated volunteers and generous donations.
Habitat for Humanity of Clinton County ReStore is currently seeking volunteers with a variety of interests and skills. If you are interested in volunteering or donating items please contact the store at 989-227-0000 or restore.manager@habitatclinton.org. We pick up donations weekly.
