A time for gratitude
Jody Barnes is grateful
This time of year people tend to think about the things they are thankful for. For me, the last year of my life has been filled with so many blessings; I am overwhelmed with gratitude for those who have helped me along the way. I would like to send a heartfelt thank you to my dear family, my devoted friends, the countless residences and businesses of St. Johns, Dewitt, East Lansing, Ovid, Elsie, and Owosso, for your support, and your generosity to me through a very difficult time.
I want to give a special thank you to Kyle, a person to whom without your selfless act of kindness in donating your kidney to me, I would possibly not be here today. I know that you made sacrifices to do this, and my family and I will forever be grateful to you.
My new kidney is functioning as if it were my own. I truly have so much to be thankful for.
Warmest Regards,
Jody Barnes

Bath Band Boosters thank community
Sometimes, the word “thank you” just does not seem to be enough when you are acknowledging the hard work and dedication of others.

The community of Bath has been a key factor in the success of the Band Boosters.

Our goal remains the same — to support the students and staff of Bath Community Schools and to fill needs that may have not been met if assistance was not available. We simply could not do it without you!

There is a “stellar” group of officers and members that make the “miracles” happen. A special thank you to: Scott Vetter (Director of Bands), Kristy Parks (Vice President) Max Miller (Secretary), Vicky Cummings (Treasurer), Tresea Jackson (member) and Teri Metros (member). I also wish to thank Bath Community Schools for their accommodating and helpful nature.

To all the parents, guardians and caregivers who have lent a hand, given a smile, shook a hand, patted a back, labored, served, fixed a band uniform before a concert, reduced chaos or donated to the cause, I sincerely thank you!

With your continued support, we will continue to make a difference–one student at a time.

With Heartfelt Graciousness,
C. J. Modolo
President
