Endowment bequest
Members of the Briggs Library Foundation hosted their sixth annual “Honors and Authors Night” April 26 at the Emerald Golf Course.
The evening featured a social hour followed by a presentation by Mike Youngs on Michigan State University’s cyclotron and special recognition of Dorothy Carson for her endowment bequest to the Foundation.
John Sirrine, left, and Rick Carson display a plaque honoring Mrs. Carson for her special gift. Rick is the son of Mrs. Carson and the late Rev. Al Carson who was pastor of the First Congregational Church in St. Johns.
