May 16th
The May meeting of the Friends of The Maple River (FOMR) will be held on Wednesday May 16th in the Board of Commissioners Room in the Clinton County Courthouse starting at 7:00PM. The Clinton County Courthouse is located at 100 East State Street in St Johns. There is a large parking lot on the south side of the Courthouse. There will be a regular business meeting followed be the annual Board of Directors meeting.
Following the regular meeting, the FOMR will convene it’s annual Board of Directors meeting to elect a new Board from the current orgazations membership, who will serve for one year from the end of the Board meeting on May 17th. The organizations Bi-Laws are posted on the FOMR web site at friendsofthemapleriver.org.
Any FOMR member, in good standing, who may be interested in serving as a Board member, should contact the organizations President Mr. Jon Morrisin at 989-224-1106. Members may attend the regular May business meeting and indicate their desire to be considered as a candidate for a position on the Board.
Two of the current Board position are currently vacant due to the incumbants moving to a location outside the area.
