Maralyn's Pet Corner

Molly is a big ole’ goofy girl, probably because she is still really a puppy.
I’m not sure but even though I am close to a year old, I think I will act this way for a while yet. I love to play with doggie toys. Ropes, stuffed animals, big nyla bones and squeaky things are some of my favorites and if I can’t find them when I am outside, I usually can find a stick to carry around. If another dog wants to help me carry whatever I have, that’s fine with me! If they try to take it away, that can be a fun game – at least for me because I usually win.
When I first came to my foster home, I had a lot of accidents in the house. Then my foster mom found a crate that was big enough for me and she had me go in there when she was gone or when she was sleeping. I like my crate. I get a treat for going in there and I love treats.
Even though I already weigh over 100 pounds, I hope to gain some more weight because I am pretty thin. But don’t worry if you have a small place where you live because as long as you have a nice yard for me run around in, I like to come inside and just relax. I do need to be either on a leash or in a fenced yard though because I like to wander off checking things out. I usually come back when I am called but you never know when something might be just too interesting…
I haven’t met any cats and I might knock small children down but I love to meet humans of all sizes and dogs of all sizes. I even met some little 2 pound puppies and all I wanted to do was sniff them and nudge them a little with my nose.
That’s about all I can think of for now to tell you. It’s time for you to go and fill out an application to adopt me!
