Memorial Day observance will begin with a 6 pm parade on Friday, May 30.
The parade route begins behind the Wilson Center, marches through downtown St. Johns and continues to the Memorial Day tribute at Mt. Rest Cemetery.

All Veterans and active duty Military are invited to join in the parade. Vintage military vehicles will be available to provide transportation for any Veteran requiring assistance. Parade units will gather in the parking lot behind the Wilson Center at 5:30 pm.
The Parade will include the St. Johns Honor Guard, Veterans of Foreign Wars Post # 4113, American Legion Post #153, the Clinton/Gratiot County Chapter #64 of Disabled American Veterans, Voiture #868 of the 40 et 8, 82nd Airborne, the American Legion Riders, Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War Camp #58, Sons of the American Legion, American Legion and VFW auxiliaries, Military Moms, banners for the Fallen Heroes of Clinton County, vintage military vehicles, and the Redwing Marching Band with escort from the St. Johns Police Department and Clinton Area Ambulance.
The solemn observance at Mt. Rest Cemetery will honor the fallen veterans of America with presentation of wreathes representing the All Veterans Memorial, Veterans of Foreign Wars, the American Legion, Disabled American Veterans, 40 et 8, Merchant Marine, American Legion Auxiliary, Sons of the American Legion, Clinton County Sheriff Department and the St. Johns Fire Department.
The service will include a message from guest speaker, Brett Holt, a 21 Gun Military Salute, echoing Taps, patriotic selections from the Redwing Marching Band and the Mint City Singers.
