A total of 20 young girls and ladies from Clinton County are participating in the 26th Annual Pageant that will take place on Wednesday, August 11 at 7:30 pm in the auditorium of the St. Johns High School. Tickets for the pageant ($8 general seating) are now on sale at the Clinton County Chamber of Commerce office, which is located at 1013 S US 27 in St. Johns (inside the CC RESA Building across from McDonalds).
The following young girls are participating in the pageant, each hoping to become the 2010 Little Miss Mint: Kristen Gibbons, Shelby Lynn Heinlen, Aariyanna Koernke, Kaitlyn Neubecker, Savanna Rhines, Madison Simmon and Madaline Welch.
Participating in the Junior Miss Mint category are: Rayne Atkinson, Catie Beck, Olivia Bouck, Ashley Cook, Emily Elizabeth Rademacher, Emily Vincent, Sarah Ward and Hailey Welch.
The young ladies participating in the Queen category are: Anne Elizabeth Brock, Madison Amara Cook, Adrianne Kennedy, April Kolp and Megan Ruestman.
The pageant promises to be an elegant affair. The theme for this year’s pageant is “A Mint Summer Night’s Dream”. A special part of the pageant will be a power point presentation of what each girl dreams to be when they are older.
The pageant has been a sell-out for the last several years so if you plan to attend you are encouraged to purchase your tickets in advance. If you have any questions about the pageant or any other event of the St. Johns Mint Festival, contact the Chamber of Commerce office at 989-224-7248.
