Mint Pageant Candidates hold events

Community Service Project and Fundraiser
The 2012 Mint Pageant Candidates will be holding a community service project on Thursday Jun 28 from 6:30 – 8:30 pm. The candidates will be collecting recyclable cans and bottles around town to raise money for a local community charity / organization of their choice.
At the same time the candidates will also be collecting non-perishable food items that will be provided to our local Clinton County Food Bank.
Please mark your calendars for this event and start saving your recyclable cans and bottles and any non-perishable food items to help your 2012 mint pageant candidates support our local community organizations.
Should we miss your area and you wish to donate, please call 989-227-8363 and we will be happy to set up a time to collect your cans and bottles.
The candidates will continue with a busy week by holding a car wash / bake sale fundraiser at Golden EFX located at 709 S US 27 (NE corner of Sturgis Street and US27) on Saturday, Jun 30 from 11 am to 5 pm.
Not only can you get your car washed squeaky clean, have fun, socialize and get to know these all-star pageant candidates, but you can also purchase some incredibly tasty home-baked goods. This event will be on a ‘by donation’ basis and all funds raised will go to the 2012 That’s Entertain-MINT / An Evening of Stars Mint Pageant fund to help alleviate costs for this show-stopping / all-star event.
We thank you for your support. Tickets for the Pageant, which will be held on Tuesday, July 24 will go on sale at the Chamber of Commerce office (1013 S US 27 in St. Johns) on Thursday, July 5.
The general seating tickets will be $8.50 each. If you have any questions about the pageant or the Mint Festival in general, contact the Chamber of Commerce at 989-224-7248 or email them at ccchamber@power-net.net.
