Kickball and Softball Tournaments

Mint Festival
Get on board for the Tenth Annual Mint Festival Co-ed Kickball Tournament. The City of St. Johns Recreation Department is accepting registrations for the tournament to be held during the Mint Festival. The double elimination co-ed tournament will be held Friday, August 9th through Sunday, August 11th. Games will be played on Friday from 6:30 p.m.-10:30 p.m., Saturday 10:00 a.m.-9:30 p.m. and Sunday (if necessary) from 11:00-? p.m. Games will take place at the Main softball field in the City Park. Teams consist of at least 10 players: five-women and five-men. Cost for the tournament is $125. Registration must be received or postmarked by July 31st. Registrations received after August 1st may not be accepted and if accepted will incur a $15 late fee. Payment must be received with the registration to hold a spot in the tournament.

The City of St. Johns Recreation Department is accepting registrations for the softball tournament to be held during the St. Johns Mint Festival, August 9th – 11th. The double elimination tournament will be played at the St. Johns Youth Baseball fields located behinds Bee’s Chevrolet. Games will be played on Friday from 6:30 p.m.-10:30 p.m., Saturday 8:00 a.m.-10:30 p.m. and Sunday (if necessary) from 8:00- ? p.m.
Cost for the tournament is $185 per team. The registration deadline is Wednesday, July 31st. Registrations received or postmarked after July 31st will not be guaranteed a spot and will incur a $15 late fee if accepted. Payment must be received with the registration to hold a spot in the tournament. Alcohol is not permitted on the tournament site.
The tournament will have Men’s Lower, Middle and Upper Divisions and one Co-Ed Division (two divisions if more than 12 teams sign up), with a limit of forty teams accepted. The homerun limit is 3+1 for upper, 1 per game for the middle, zero for the lower and 1 + 1 for the co-ed, with additional homeruns being counted as outs for all divisions. Divisions may be combined or dropped if not enough teams sign up.
A softball manager’s meeting will take place on Wednesday, August 7th at Ryan’s Roadhouse (formerly Ye Ole Roadhouse) at 6:30 pm.
