The 29th Annual St. Johns Mint Festival Pageant will be held this Tuesday, July 30 at 7:30 pm at the St. Johns Middle School. Tickets are available at the Chamber of Commerce office at 1013 S US 27 in St. Johns (in the CC RESA Building) and the cost is $8.50 for each general seating ticket.
The eight young girls competing for the Little Miss Mint title are: Gabriella Gunnell, Ashlyn Hackett, Jocelynn Hunt, Grace Leavitt, Kaylenn Marie-Iona Mills, Kylee Petra Nadeau, Audrey Kathryn Rademacher and Tristen Rhines.
Alyssa Thompson and Audriana Wright are in contention to be the next Junior Miss Mint and the following seven young women are competing for the ultimate title of Queen: Kaylee Bauman, Cassie deDoes, Gina Harlow, Paige Hufnagel, Alyssa Mee, Lexi Schaefer and Nicholle Thompson.
Once selected the Little Miss Mint, Junior Miss Mint and Queen participate in a number of community events throughout the year, along with attending over 20 parades.
