August 8-10
The Clinton County Chamber of Commerce is excited that this year’s St. Johns Mint Festival will be celebrating their 30th Anniversary. The festival, started by a dedicated group of Chamber members 30 years ago has grown in size and visibility throughout the state. The parade has become one of the biggest in the state and attendees come from all over the state to enjoy the entire weekend.
To celebrate the 30th Anniversary the festival will be providing free cake and mint coffee at the main pavilion just before the Friday evening concert. Also, throughout the weekend attendees can register at different events to win $30 in 10 different drawings.
To help celebrate the weekend the festival is bringing back the popular dog shows and there will be special events for kids all weekend like the carnival, the festival’s own Kids World, petting zoo, video game trailer and much more.
For the adults the festival is a great time to meet up with old friends, do some shopping from vendors as far away as Texas and to enjoy some great free entertainment. There’s also the Quilt Show, the new and classic car shows, the community wide garage sales and more.
If you have any questions about any of the events of the festival, or if you would like to volunteer at the 30th Annual St. Johns Mint Festival, please call the Chamber of Commerce at 989-224-7248 or email them at ccchamber@4wbi.net.
