Begins Tuesday December 4
It’s not the purpose of members of the Mint City Singers to be alliterative, but practice, precision and performance bring about that portrayal as they prepare for a packed holiday schedule.
That agenda includes solo seasonal programs as well as appearances with the Community Band and participation in the Holiday Music Spectacular Dec. 7 at the Wilson Center. Squeezed amid those events are the regular 7:30 p.m. Monday rehearsals at the Lutheran Church, preparing for a busy December.
It all begins Tuesday December 4 when the group welcomes the holidays with the Clinton County Arts Association during a public performance at the Gallery. Time for that event is set for 6:30 p.m.
Three days later, Friday Dec. 7, the Singers share the Wilson Center stage during the Holiday Music Spectacular, an approximately two-hour show beginning at 7:30 p.m.
Grace Haven residences is the next scheduled stop, Monday December 10 where guests will be entertained with songs of the season beginning at 7:30 p.m. The next evening at 7:30 p.m., ladies of the First Methodist Church will be entertained during their annual holiday tea.
The current schedule wraps up Tuesday, December 18 when the Mint City Singers and Community Band again team up for a performance at Clinton Commons. The singers will follow that appearance with one for the residences of Hazel Finlay Manor.
