Clinics for August
Breast and Cervical Cancer Control Program

The Clinton County Breast and Cervical Cancer Control Program (BCCCP) clinic will take place on August 25, 2010 at the Mid-Michigan District Health Department at 1307 E. Townsend Road in St. Johns. Women between the ages of 50 and 64 may be eligible for free mammograms, pelvic exams and Pap tests.
Breast Cancer Screenings
The Mid-Michigan District Health Department Breast Cancer Screenings will take place as follows:
August 20:    at Mid-Michigan District Health Department, 1307 E. Townsend Road in St. Johns, from 8 a.m. to Noon and from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
   
Women between the ages 40 and 64 (and under 40 years of age presenting with abnormalities) may be eligible. Breast Cancer Screenings are by appointment only. For more information or to schedule an appointment, call (989) 227-3118 Monday through Friday.
Funding for these screenings is provided by a grant from the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, Mid-Michigan affiliate.
Family Planning Clinic Schedule
The Mid-Michigan District Health Department’s Family Planning Clinics provide confidential care to men and women in need of contraception and reproductive health services. Charges for services and supplies are based on income. The Family Planning Clinics are scheduled as follows:

Hearing & Vision Screening Clinic
Vision screening is required for all children entering kindergarten. The Mid-Michigan District Health Department offers free vision testing, as well as hearing screening tests for all children ages 3 to 21. WIC Benefit Pick-Up Schedule

Pregnant and breastfeeding women, infants and children up to 5 years old may be eligible for free food through the WIC (Women, Infants & Children) program. The Mid-Michigan District Health Department WIC Benefit Pick-up Clinics are scheduled as follows:
August 3:    at the Mid-Michigan District Health Department, 1307 E. Townsend Road in St. Johns, from 9 a.m. to Noon and 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
August 19:        at the DeWitt Christian Church at 2391 Herbison Road in DeWitt,
from 9:00 a.m. to noon and 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
August 9:    at the Mid-Michigan District Health Department, 1307 E. Townsend Road in St. Johns, from 8 a.m. to Noon and 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
