Mid-Michigan District Health Department (MMDHD) held its annual all-staff meeting on September 24 at the Gratiot Isabella Regional Educational Service District in Ithaca.
“Our District-Wide meeting is the one time all year that staff from all three branches (Clinton, Gratiot and Montcalm Counties) have an opportunity to come together as an agency to reflect on the past year’s accomplishments and look to the future,” said Kimberly Singh, Health Officer for MMDHD.
One of the highlights of the day included employee awards and recognitions.
Outstanding Performance awards were given to the following employees:
Outstanding Performance, Administrative Services Division: Mark Weber, Management Information Specialist, Montcalm Branch
Outstanding Performance, Community Health and Education Division: Candy Smith, Public Health Representative, Montcalm Branch
Outstanding Performance, Environmental Health Division: Matt Remus, Environmental Health Specialist, Clinton Branch
Longevity awards were given to the following employees:
Twenty Years of Service- Lisa Howard, Public Health Representative (Clinton Branch) and Cathy Smith, Public Health Representative (Gratiot Branch).
Fifteen Years of Service- Jenniffer Efaw, Public Health Nurse (Gratiot Branch); Lynda Farquharson, Emergency Preparedness Coordinator (Montcalm Branch); and Pat Wall, Public Health Representative (Montcalm Branch).
Ten Years of Service- Katie Allen, Public Health Representative (Gratiot Branch); Bonnie Havlicek, Community Health and Education Supervisor (Montcalm Branch); Rex Hoyt, Data Specialist (Montcalm Branch); Laura Hunt, Public Health Representative (Montcalm Branch); Duane Schneider, Environmental Health Specialist (Montcalm Branch); Jamie Sorgenfrei, Public Health Representative (Montcalm Branch); and Andrea Tabor, Community Health and Education Division Director (Montcalm Branch).
