Ferrall’s helps Museum

On January 18, 2012, Paine-Gillam-Scott Museum was the site of a major landscaping project.
Ferrall’s Tree Trimming and Removal began the job in the early morning in spite of cold weather.
The blue spruce tree was planted by John and Catherine Rumbaugh, founding Museum Directors, in 1978. The tree had grown over the past 34 years to over 50 feet in height.

Although the tree was perfectly shaped, it had become a hindrance to the Museum’s visibility, a detriment to its porch, and was diseased.
Ferrall’s did a superior job removing the tree. Attention to detail and regard for the historic site was obvious from the beginning.
Museum Staff was very impressed and pleased with the efficiency of the crew. Even clean-up was performed with perfection.
Ferrall Tree Service donated the time and equipment to do this huge job. It was certainly a generous gift to the Museum as well as to the St. Johns Community.
