Joyce Wagner writes: I believe itis at: 903 N. Clinton Ave St. Johns and belongs to Jim and Wanda Gurski. I don’t know anything other than that.”
JEB adds, “This house is located on north Clinton Ave. Not sure who lives there, just know the lady makes beautiful Petoskey Stone jewelry. I was given a necklace, bracelet and earrings for Christmas that my husband purchased from her.”
Barry finishes the story: The late Robert Perrin Walling lived in this house as a youngster. I wish I had remembered all the things he told me about living there. In later years he got a chance to visit the house again and was disappointed to see all the beautiful woodwork painted. I do remember him telling that there was a library in the house.
We are probably more familiar with Dr. Nelson Howe owning this place and having a veterinarian office in the back of the building.
