Last week’s photo wasn’t much of a mystery to a lot of our readers.
The first reader to answer said:
I believe that is the big Victorian that is located at 205 W. State Street. It believe that it’s still owned by Jack and [Marta] Giesecke, as it was when we used to rent the downstairs apartment from them around 1990. The space that was once our apartment had originally been where the doctor that built the house had his practice. Or at least that’s the story my husband and I were told.
Of course, that’s assuming that I’m even right.
