Jonathan Pulling, Jr. still seems to know his way around his old neighborhood. He writes:
This house is on the NE corner of East State Street and North Oakland Street. It is 101 North Oakland. The Peterson’s lived on the first floor during the 50’s & 60’s. Pete own the Shell gas station on East State where the fire house is now located. I used to live across State Street from this house. I delivered their newspaper for six years.
Barry says: The last I knew the house was owned by the late Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Pyle. It remained on the market for the longest time after they died, but now appears to be occupied. The address is 101 N. Oakland St.
I was in the house shortly after the Pyles remodeled the kitchen and it was a beautiful place.
