Reader Todd Matthews from Flagstaff, AZ writes: “My Grandfather and Grandmother Joe and Dorothy Matthews built this home on Mead and Buchanan Streets in the early 1950’s. As a child I have many happy memories of the time I spent there. My Grandmother had a large vegetable garden in the back that I helped her tend. I particularly enjoyed the fresh rhubarb pies she baked.”
Barry adds: “This is 510 S. Mead St. and was owned by J. G. Matthews and later Charles and Eloise Spousta Dickinson.”
