Kids Power Karate is an introductory program to traditional Tang Soo Do for boys & girls, ages 5-12 years. This class offers martial arts training with an emphasis on self-defense, physical fitness, conflict resolution, team-work, discipline and stranger awareness techniques. Specifically designed for children and teaches prevention first. It does not promote active aggressiveness. Class size is limited to 40 students. Kids Power Karate will be held on Wednesday’s, January 23 and 30, February 6, 13, 20, and 27, 2013 from 5:00 – 5:45 p.m. at PKSA – 320 N. Clinton Ave.
The Little Ninjas Karate Program is an introductory karate class specifically designed for children ages 4 and 5. It focuses on teaching children 8 important main life skills: Focus, Memory, Teamwork, Discipline, Self-Control, Fitness, Balance and Coordination. All this is achieved through exciting games and activities. Wear loose fitting clothes. Little Ninjas Karate will be held Saturday’s, February 9, 16, 23, March 2, 9 and 16, 2013 at Oakview South Elementary School Cafeteria. You can choose from 9:15 – 9:45 a.m. and 10:15 – 10:45 a.m.
Program Fees (each class): City Residents $40, non-City Residents $45
Registration deadline is January 18, 2013 for Kids Power Karate and February 4, 2013 for Little Ninjas Karate.
