Auxiliary selects leaders for upcoming year

Annual installation
Members of the Sparrow Clinton Hospital Auxiliary held their annual installation meeting May 16, naming officers and leaders for the coming year.
Event hostess Mary Ann Ellickson, Sparrow Clinton Hospital President and CEO Ed Bruun, and Sparrow Clinton Hospital Board of Directors Chairman Craig Bishop presided over the installation ceremony.
Outgoing President Shelley Gunther was recognized for her service. Gunther served as co-president from 2010-2012, sharing that position the first year with Jeanette Huard and the second year with Ann Hufnagel. Gunther continues as a Past President/Counselor in 2012-13 as well as active Treasurer for the group.
Co-presidents for the current year are Ann Hufnagel and Robin Ingalls.

As the 2011 Auxilian of the Year, Shelley Gunther presented Nancy Mino with the 2012 Auxilian of the Year award. Mino, an Auxiliary member since 2002, received special recognition from her peers for her dedication to volunteer leadership and service as well as her enthusiastic support of Auxiliary programs.
Incoming officers include Gay Baker, president elect; Diane Zuker, recording secretary; Sam Hopko, corresponding secretary; Cindy Knight, historian; and Shelley Gunther, treasurer.
Executive board members for 2012-13 are Ione Berg, Emma Khavari and Sharon Hunt. Executive board members for 2012-14 are Kim Kellogg, Chery Goff and Carey Harris.
Robin Ingalls serves as an ex-officio member of the Sparrow Clinton Hospital Foundation Board of Directors. Ex-officio Sparrow Clinton Hospital Board Member is Susan DeRosa.
The Auxiliary breaks for the summer months and reconvenes in September. New members are welcome.
