The City of St. Johns Parks and Recreation Board will have the 2011-2015 Parks and Recreation Master Plan available for public viewing starting January 6, 2011. The plan will be available for viewing through February 7, 2011 during regular business hours at City Offices, Briggs Public Library and anytime on the City’s website at http://www.ci.saint-johns.mi.us/departments/parks-and-rec.shtml.
The Parks and Recreation Board would like to get your input on the plan. Any comments or suggestions will be included in the Master Plan. The Parks and Recreation Board will also hold an open house on January 26, 2011 from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. in the Clinton County Courthouse. You will be able to ask City Staff and the Parks and Recreation Board any questions you may have about the plan. An approved copy must be on file with the MDNRE if the City wants to apply for Michigan Natural Resources Trust Fund and Federal Land and Water Grants.
