Sally
Sally was picked up as a stray and ended up in a shelter in Reed City. She was obviously pregnant, but no one came forward to claim her. No one wanted puppies to be born in a shelter, so she came to my home to have her babies. She couldn’t have been more that a year or so old herself. She did a great job having and caring for her five puppies. Now her babies are old enough to find their own homes, so Sally is ready to find hers.
Sally is a very sweet girl. She gets along very well with the other dogs and the cats in her foster home. She is house trained although she hasn’t quite figured out how to say she needs to go out, yet. Just make sure she goes out regularly and there’s no problems. She is crated during the day and while I am at work and at night. She is still young and tends to chew if she is loose.
Sally is a typical beagle. She is very sweet and is everyone’s friend. She does have a beagle nose, however. When she catches a scent she just has to follow it. Because of this a fenced yard is a must. If you are not familiar with beagles you might want to take a look at this site http://beagles-on-the-web.com/considering.html.
All in all, you couldn’t find a nicer dog. You only have to meet her to love her. Email lisa@schnauzerama.org for questions about Sally.
