Cassie
Cassie came into rescue from the Allegan puppy mill bust. She was covered in fleas and filth. She is blind in one eye and had a puncture in the other eye that we are treating after an appointment with the ophthalmologist. We also treated her ear infections and yeast infections on her skin. Originally when she had an ultrasound done it showed that she was pregnant. When it was obvious she wasn’t going to have any puppies we had her spayed. She still needs work on housetraining due to the deplorable conditions she was living in with 350 other Shih Tzus in one small house.
Cassie is good with other dogs. She has a sweet disposition and loves to be loved on. When she came to me she was terrified to go outside. Now she is spunky like most Shih Tzus and wanders in the yard exploring quite independently.
