Meet Boston Angel
My mom had to give me up when she lost her home and moved to a homeless shelter. I’ve lived with her all my life and it’s so sad…. I sure love to be with my new mom and dad as much as I can. And I keep my security ball handy at all times. That really helps me get by. I like the other furkids here. They are a great bunch, except for one – she doesn’t like me and I have tried to be nice to her. When she growls at me now, I just return her growls.
When mom or dad want me to move off the couch, they’ve learned to just take my security ball and toss it somewhere else. Then when I get back, they’ve taken my spot! But that’s OK, I just climb back up on top of their laps and settle in.
I am house-trained, and haven’t been crated for years. I love to go for walks and have a lot of energy, but I’m a couch potato whenever you are.
I have a very strange way of letting you know I need something, like to go outside or I want a treat or I want you to throw my ball. I will sit up on the couch and bounce up and down on my butt while I whine and look at the ceiling, like I’m seeing ghosts or something. At first, my foster mom thought I was trying to say, “I see dead doggies.”
I get really attached to my people and will guard the house by barking at anyone who comes near, but I am all noise. I like everyone, even kids, although I am a little shy at first. When I warm up, I just wag and wiggle like crazy and just want attention. I am a really sweet and loving girl and would like to have a furever home. Will you adopt me?
