Buster
Buster was rescued from an animal shelter where he was a picked up as a very underweight stray. He has gained 20 pounds and has about another 10 to go.
He has a great disposition. He is very friendly and affectionate.
He is pretty active and likes to play with his chew toys and run in the back yard with other dogs his size. His favorite playmates are my two Boxers. Still he is really good in the house if he has had his exercise for the day. He loves to sit by my chair and be petted.
He is housebroken and crate trained.
As with all APB dogs , he has had all his shots, is neutered and microchipped.
He seems to get along well with all other dogs even small ones although he can be a little rough trying to play with them.
He is fine with my granddaughters, although he is pretty active, so would have to be watched around real small children.
He would make an ideal family pet. He is friendly, active, obedient (most of the time) and affectionate but not too needy.
He is working on training. He will now sit on command and knows he must sit before he gets his food or a treat.
Although he is really good, a fenced yard and/ or a companion dog would be perfect for him.
He loves to ride in the car or go for a walk and gets really excited when he sees me get his leash. He does need some work on proper leash manners though.
Buster is a typical Boxer. He is active, loyal, affectionate, smart and just a joy to be around. All he asks in return is lots of love, your companionship and affection.
