Maralyn's Pet Corner

These dogs are from Gratiot County Animal Control and they are looking for a new home.

#104 is a male Mini Collie mix or long haired Dachshund mix. He is very cute and friendly. A great valentine gift for the whole family. He was picked up as a stray and will be available for adoption on Feb. 14th if is not owner claimed. Looking for his new home.

#168 is a male German Shorthair mix. He is about 6 months old. His name is Rango and was surrendered by his owner because he could not be in an apartment. Rango is paper trained and a very cute and lovably dog.
If you can help with either of these dogs, they would be fur ever grateful. If you are interested please contact Sally at 989-875-2221 or email hmcnabbsally@gmail.com.

Luciano
Luciano loves to be a snuggle bunny. He is a real lover! Cuddling with a human is one of his favorite things when he is not playing with other dogs or doggie toys. Of course the belly rubs are always welcome, too.
He is great with other dogs and is more than happy to play a game of keep-away or tug with them. Going for rides in the car is also something fun for him and he is quiet and very well mannered. Since Luciano is at the “teething” age, you need to make sure he has a few things of his that he can concentrate on otherwise he may find things to chew on that are not necessarily what you might have had in mind.
He is crate trained and doing well on the house training but he kept on a regular schedule so this will need to be watched in new home while he learns a new routine.
There are no cats in Luciano’s foster home so we are not sure how he would be living with them. He is still clumsy and excitable so really small children would likely get knocked down until he is older and learns more manners.
