Say No To Ironing

Iron Man/Woman?
You don’t have to be one..…. Just a person who loves to ride a bike.
Join the fun at the Bike Ride for the Railway Oct 6 at 9AM (Register at 8:30). The ride will begin and end at the St. Johns Depot, 107 E. Railroad St. Your $20 registration fee will provide you with a choice of routes that are 20, 40 and 60 miles. There will be good food at the end of your ride, and water and snacks along the way. Ride a little or a lot, but join in the fun.

Routes: the 20-miler runs to the West and the 40- and 60-mile routes to the East will let you enjoy the new smattering of fall color in the Sleepy Hollow park area. Registration forms are available ahead of time at the CCAC Gallery, 215 N. Clinton Ave., St. Johns, 48879.
The proceeds will benefit the restoration of the vintage rail cars owned by the Clinton County Arts Council(CCAC), three of which are at the St Johns Depot. One more car is a unique 1902 wooden sleeper car that will be moved to town when the exterior has been restored.
Clinton Northern Railway Museum, a branch of CCAC, has a wonderful volunteer Railroad Crew restoring the historic cars who would love to have additional help. Call Jim at 989-292-1173 if you are willing to pitch in.
Clinton County Arts Council receives a portion of it funding from the Michigan Council for Arts and Cultural Affairs and the National Endowment for the Arts.
