Tale of relationships comes to Wilson Auditorium stage

October 14-16
Whether you’re single, dating or married, “I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change” is a must see for anyone involved – or uninvolved – in a relationship. After enjoying one of the longest runs ever off-Broadway, “I Love You…” has played in over 150 cities worldwide. This hilarious musical comedy says everything you have ever secretly thought about dating, romance, marriage, lovers, husbands, wives and in-laws, but were afraid to admit!

Homegrown Productions is pleased to welcome actors from The Revue in Nashville, Michigan who reprise their roles for this production at the Wilson Center Auditorium in St. Johns October 14-16. The cast of four play multiple roles as Act I details the journey from dating and waiting to lovers and marriage, while Act II reveals the agonies and triumphs of in-laws and newborns, trips in the family car and pick-up techniques of the geriatric set.
“Audiences loved the show when The Revue produced it in 2010,” said Beth Webb, Homegrown Productions co-founder. “The cast members were available to perform in St. Johns, so this is a great opportunity for a cooperative venture that will bring great entertainment to the Wilson Center stage.”
St. Johns High School graduate Jeremy Schneider and his real-life spouse, DeWitt High School graduate Kelly Schneider make up half the cast. The other roles are played by Bill Reynolds and Lindsey Hemming. Jeremy Schneider directs the cast and shares musical direction with Bill Reynolds.
Performances are at 7:30 pm on October 14 and 15 and 2 pm on October 16. Tickets are $10 and will be available at the door or may be reserved by calling 989-224-8982. The Wilson Center Auditorium is located at 101 W. Cass St. in downtown St. Johns.
