At Senior Center Ice Cream Social July 23
On Thursday, July 23 the Clinton County Senior Center, located at 201 E Walker Street in St. Johns will be holding a free Ice Cream Social for Senior Citizens and anyone that has an interest in the center. The Social will be held from 1:00 – 4:00 p.m. In addition to getting a tour of the facility, individuals can enjoy music from a player piano that was recently donated to the center by Jan Blizzard. The piano had belonged to her mother, Dorothy Bullard.
Prior to the Ice Cream Social the center will be holding a Euchre Tournament from 10 a.m. to Noon and then lunch from Noon to 1 p.m. The cost for the Euchre and lunch are $3. While anyone can drop in for the Ice Cream Social, if you plan to attend the Euchre Tournament and lunch you must RSVP by Monday, July 20.
The Clinton County Senior Center is open Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday between 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. and is open to anyone aged 55 and over. If you have any questions about the Ice Cream Social, the Euchre Tournament or the Senior Center in general, call them at 989-224-4257.
