At the Senior Center in January

Celebrity Chefs are once again cooking up a storm on Mondays at the Clinton County Senior Center.
January meals and chefs include:
Jan 9: Pork Chops, Dressing, Vegetable and Applesauce (Stu Fitzpatrick and Terry Thelen from Weichert Realty)
Jan 16: Chicken Casserole, Vegetable, Roll and Fruit (Tyler Barlage from Community Christian Church)
Jan 23: Meatloaf, Mac and Cheese, Vegetable and Jello Salad (Brenda and Darlene Terpening from the Clinton County Chamber of Commerce
Jan 30: Beef Stew, Coleslaw, Bisquit and Jello (Brenda and Darlene from the Chamber)
Meals are served each Monday between 11:30 am – 12:30 pm and the cost is only $5. If you don’t want a full meal they also have a different sandwich ($2) and soup ($1.50) each week, along with homemade pie ($1.50). Take outs are available – you can call in advance to 989-224-4257 to reserve a meal.
The Senior Center’s monthly Bake Sale is scheduled for Saturday, January 21 at Krogers, starting at 9:00 am.

Of course the Senior Center is open Monday through Friday (except Thursday) between 9 am to 3 pm and different activities are held each day, including nutritional meals, bingo, euchre, canasta, etc. For a full calendar of events, call Gary at 989-224-4257.
Finally, the Board and Staff will be selling tickets in January for their annual Chocolate Fantasy, which is scheduled for Thursday, February 2 from 6-8 pm. At this event there will be more than 20 chocolate creations you can sample. Tickets are only $10. Call Terpening at 989-224-7248 if you are interested in tickets, or would like to donate a chocolate creation for the event.
