Help wanted
The Clinton County Senior Center, located at 201 E Walker Street in St. Johns has volunteer opportunities open for seniors and non-seniors. Openings include:
1) Board Members: The Board of Directors meets once a month and members assist with planning the programs offered at the center, assist with fundraising efforts and some members volunteer as staff at the center. They currently have openings for general board members and an opening for an individual that would like to volunteer at the center on a Wednesday of each month (approximately 9 am to 3 pm).
2) Monday Lunch Cook: 1 to 2 individuals are needed to prepare and serve a lunchtime meal on the 1st Monday of each month (approximately 9 am to 1 pm). The Senior Center provides all the supplies.
3) Birthday Cake Maker: Beginning in January, the center will be looking for someone to make a birthday cake once a month for their 2nd Wednesday Birthday celebration.
