On S. Business 127
According to Clinton County Sheriff Wayne Kangas, an accident involving three vehicles occurred on Business 127 near Wal-Mart at about 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday January 3, 2012.
Four people were hospitalized, and one was airlifted to Sparrow Hospital in Lansing.
A southbound driver apparently pulled in front of another driver in the left-turn lane near Wal-Mart. That driver struck the vehicle in front of him pushing the vehicle into the northbound lane of traffic where it was struck by an oncoming vehicle.
A family member of one of the victims says that the young man is making good progress, but a collapsed lung and broken bones will be a problem for some time to come.
