Special Olympics Area 28 hosted a Softball Tournament in St Johns on Saturday, July 26th. Ten softball teams and several skills athletes from around the state participated. Area 28 softball teams, the Hawks and the Eagles, both captured gold medals. The competition was fierce, the weather was great, and everyone had a wonderful day.
Thanks to the St Johns Youth Baseball Association and the Knights of Colombus Council #3281 for sponsoring the softball tournament. Special Olympians greatly appreciate the support of their sponsors and volunteers who made this year’s tournament a success.
