Move 6 tons of rail ties
St. Johns Soccer Team vs. Railroad Ties. The team helped out Clinton Northern Railway (a branch of Clinton County Arts Council) by moving 58 ties weighing about 200 pounds each and 8’8″ in length.
They also moved 3 eight-foot steel beams for a grand total of over 6 tons.
It took the 22 soccer players and their 2 coaches (Karl Hanover and Rick Carlson) less than 30 minutes to move all into 5 neat stacks.
