With all the unusual severe weather events in the Midwest this spring, the City has opted to test the Tornado sirens (early warning system) on Saturday March 24th, 2012 at Noon. This test will be conducted unless there is severe weather in the area.
Following will be the rest of the Tornado Siren Testing for the year:
The City tests tornado sirens (early warning system) at noon on the first Saturday of the months of April through October. This test will be conducted unless there is severe weather in the area.
Tornado sirens are located at the City Park, Sparrow Clinton Hospital and just east of Federal Mogul.
