The City of St. Johns will again be collecting Christmas Trees. This year, as in the past, City crews will collect trees that have been placed near the curb within the public right-of-way but not in the street.
To be collected, trees should not be in plastic bags and must have all ornaments and wires removed.
Trees will be collected beginning Tuesday, January 3, 2012 thru Friday, January 6, 2012.
Trees can also be taken to the Department of Public Works compost area located at 1000 North BR US 27. This site is open 7 days a week 24 hours a day.
City staff would like to remind you to water your Christmas trees and keep them away from open flames.
