Springtime Community Festival scheduled

May 19
On Saturday, May 19 the Clinton County Chamber of Commerce will hold their 10th Annual Springtime Community Festival / Touch a Truck. It will be held in the CC RESA Building across from McDonald’s on US 27 from 9 am to 3 pm.
While at the show you can visit with all types of businesses including tree trimming and removal, home care, funeral planning, karate instruction, construction and much more.
You will also be able to buy products from vendors selling Tupperware, Mary Kay, Lia Sophia Jewelry, Scentsy Candles and Tastefully Simple Gourmet Foods. There will also be many home crafters at the show selling their homemade wood products, crocheted or knitted items, jewelry, purses, baked goods and more.
Kids of all ages will have fun checking out the vehicles in the parking lot. There will be ambulances, fire trucks, police cars and the Life Net Helicopter. And, kids can have fun playing in a corn box. There will be more fun inside the building for kids with free crafts, safety information and drawings for prizes.
There are lots of prizes for the adults too – more than 50 to be given out throughout the day. And, the Chamber of Commerce will have a Grand Prize Drawing. To qualify for the drawing you must have each of the vendors sign a guest card that you will get when you enter the show.
The Chamber will give out goodie bags to the first 50 people that attend the show at 9:00 am. Another 50 goodie bags will be given out to the first 50 new people arriving at 1:00 pm.
Plan to eat lunch at the show. The Clinton County Senior Center will be selling sloppy joes, hotdogs and chips and nacho cheese, along with chips, beverages and candy. And the Chamber will have popcorn for sale throughout the day.
