St. Johns Church of the Nazarene, August 23 – 27
St. Johns Church of the Nazarene invites children, pre-school through sixth grade, to become a deep sea diver, to explore the depth of Jesus’ love through activity and interaction, and to develop and strengthen their relationship with God.
Every day, all divers will participate in the Opening Program at the Dive Zone, where they will experience a Deep Sea Adventure daily drama sketch, have the opportunity to compete boys versus girls by giving to the Mission Offering Project, and sing along with Sound Waves Music. Worshiping together in song and movement is a great way to help divers burn off extra energy before they settle in for an exciting Navigation Station Bible Story. After prayer, divers will begin rotating to the other sites. The Treasure Chest Reveal-a-Verse Bible Memory contains activities designed to help divers memorize and utilize the Word of God. At the Goldfish Gym divers will have a great time together as they experience active play. Shark Bites Snacks allow divers to take a break, grab a snack, and review the things they have learned that day at VBS. Coral Crafts is a terrific place where divers can get creative as they make fun crafts that express their talents and creativity.
Our Deep Sea Adventure will be held Monday, August 23-Friday, August 27, 6:30-8:30 p.m. at St. Johns Church of the Nazarene at 515 N. Lansing Street, six blocks north of M-21 in St. Johns. Each diver will be given a Sound Waves Music CD. We’d also like to invite you for our end of VBS program during Sunday morning worship at 11:00 a.m. on Sunday, August 29.
