The City of St. Johns Recreation Department is excited to host a community wide walking event to explore our very own St. Johns City Park and Clinton County Fairgrounds on Wednesday, July 23, 2014, in conjunction with Community Partners in Heath Walking in Our Community Series.
Registration for the walking event starts at 5:30 p.m. at the Main Pavilion and the walk begins at 6:00 p.m. The first 50 walkers who register for this event will receive a $3.00 voucher to be used at the special farmers market from 5:30-8:00 p.m.
Many different activities take place on Wednesday evenings, which include: Men’s Softball, Women’s Sand Volleyball, and Concerts in the Park. Other great park amenities to try throughout the year are the shuffle board court, disk golf course, ball diamond, tennis courts, basketball courts, sand volleyball court, Fantasy Forest Playground, BMX Track, sledding hill, and ice rink.
