The City of St. Johns Recreation Department is excited to host Let’s Walk and Talk with a Doctor with Dr. Gregory Holzhei while exploring the Fred Meijer CIS Trail on Saturday, July 11, 2015. The Let’s Walk and Talk with a Doctor series is facilitated by the Capital Area Health Alliance and is in collaboration with the 2015 Walking in Our Community Series.
Registration for the walking event starts at 9:00 a.m. at the St. Johns Railroad Depot (107 E. Railroad St). At 9:10, Dr. Holzhei will give a presentation on the benefits of being physically active and walk with participants on the CIS Trail.
The first 50 walkers who register for this event will receive a $3.00 voucher which can be used at the St. Johns Farmers Market from 10:00 a.m. – Noon. The market is located a few blocks away from the main event on the West Side of the Clinton County Court House. Vouchers are only valid for the July 11, 2015, St. Johns Farmers Market.
