February 25
On Saturday February 25 Capital Area Community Services, Inc. will be hosting the 22nd Annual Walk for Warmth fundraiser for Clinton County.
Registration will begin at 10:30 a.m. with the walk beginning at 11 a.m. at the Clinton County Senior Drop-In Center, 201 E. Walker St. Johns.
Participants will collect pledges and walk a three-mile fixed route through the City of St. Johns to raise awareness of the plight of Clinton County households who have no heat.
A CACS-Head Start bus will be following along the route to provide a break for those walkers who may need one. There will once again be a warming station with refreshments at the Church of the Nazarene, 515 N. Lansing Street.
All funds raised through Walk for Warmth will go directly to Clinton County households for heat-related utility assistance.
Please join in collecting pledges and Walk for Warmth this year.
