Walk for Warmth

Kiwanis service leadership groups
For the third consecutive year, St. Johns Kiwanis members and the club’s service leadership groups banded together to participate in the Capital Area Community Services (CACS) 3-mile Walk for Warmth. The Kiwanis group numbered 31 counting Kiwanians and student members from Kiwanis sponsored middle school Builders Club and high school Good Wins Key Club.
Each year, the walk is sponsored by CACS to assist low-income individuals and families with home heating assistance. All funds go directly to that purpose and those raised in Clinton County are designated for county residents.
St. Johns Kiwanis participation is coordinated by member Jan Havlik.
Before striking out on the walk the group gathered in the warmth of the Senior Center for a photo.
