E-mail Problems Again, Dr. Benjamin Carson, and Furthermore
by Barry Bauer
I had problems with my e-mail, again, this week. It was a password problem that carried over from my laptop to my desktop. I had to call Charter to resolve the problem and I hate that. When I called Charter’s number I’m connected to the cyber voice, the how may I help you gal. She does remind me I can ask for an agent at any time but she keeps pressing me to stick with her. Unfortunately for her I want a live human being to talk to.
Cindy, an agent, came on and recognized my problem right away and ran me through a few pages of instructions that eventually led to resolving my problem. I wish I was smart enough to do that on my own but I’m not. I do take notes and hopefully that will increase my knowledge of what it is I should do when I have this problem. Meanwhile, the e-mails are flowing and I’m okay again in, “Internet Land.”

I watched Dr. Benjamin Carson give the most eloquent speech anyone in this generation has ever given at the National Prayer Breakfast. Obama, sitting in the second chair from the podium, was visibility uncomfortable with what he was listening to. Dr. Carson pointed out all the things that are wrong with this country today and I only wish he had Obama’s ear as an advisor and could input some common sense into this man who’s been elected president and doesn’t know or care about doing the right thing.
Believe it or not his agenda is to punish America for whatever his reasons are. He’s a sick man.

Tomorrow, February 15, is our oldest daughter’s birthday. Renee taught us a lot about parenting and I like to think we taught her a lot about living. She was followed by sisters, Mindy and Kristy. Of the three of them Renee was the most difficult but if you know her today you will see our efforts didn’t go unrewarded. The three girls have been a blessing.

NBC, probably the most liberal and bias TV network out there, had a lot of fun with Senator Marco Rubio’s need for a drink of water during his Republican Party’s rebuttal speech to Obama’s State of the Union Address.
Is that all they have? Does NBC realize how stupid they look?

And Furthermore:
The clientele that shows up on Dr. Phil’s show are the same people who show up at the election booths. Feel better now?
They’ve made child proof lids but at the same time make it nearly impossible for the elderly to open those same containers. What have we gained? Would you sell a can of Coleman Fuel to a five-year old?
How come drive-in restaurants have fallen out of favor and drive-thru flourishes?
My maternal Grandfather used to have an expression that drove my oldest brother nuts! Grandpa would say about somebody, “We used them well.” Richard took that literally but I’m sure Grandpa meant that they “treated” them well.
I didn’t watch the inauguration nor did I watch the State of the Union Address. I’m getting tired of seeing and hearing from the man who will look us squarely in the eyes and lie to us. I don’t need that.
Until the next time . . .
