The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS) issued an Emergency Order under the Public Health Code to update COVID safety requirements for Michiganders.

Red Cross blood drive coming up February 1
Time to share your blood with those who need it. Go to the Columbian Hall on Monday, February 1, 2021 from 9 a.m. until 6 p.m.

VCSU releases Honor Rolls for Fall Semester 2020
Valley City State University in Valley City, N.D. has released its Honor Rolls for fall semester 2020.
Kallie Sue Marrison of Saint Johns was named to the Dean’s Honor Roll.
This honor roll recognizes students who completed 12 semester hours or more of VCSU classes for which grade points were earned with a grade point average of at least 3.50.
Briggs District Library Hours
Briggs District Library is currently open for in facility usage and curbside delivery on a reduced schedule. The Library is following the recommended safety guidelines which include increased cleaning procedures, quarantining all returned materials for a minimum of 96hrs, social distancing, occupancy restrictions and requiring all staff and patrons age five and over to wear a mask unless exempt for medical reasons. The Library’s current operating hours are:
Monday: 12:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Tuesday: 2:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
Wednesday: 10:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Thursday: 2:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
Friday: 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Saturday: 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
