Benefit Fish Fry is March 19

 

The Clinton Area Care Center is sponsoring a Take Out Fish Fry on Friday, March 19 to benefit for Kim Huguelet. Kim was diagnosed with stage 3 lung cancer on February 2, 2021. She has been a devoted employee at Hazel I Findlay County Manor for 11 years. She is now on medical leave and is beginning treatment.

Only Pre-orders will be accepted on day of event from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Pick-up will nr from 4 p.pn. to 7 p.m. Order at 989-224-6808. Payment of $10 per meal must be by cash only.

The Menu includes 3 Piece of Fried Cod, French Fries, Coleslaw, Dinner Roll and Dessert.

Please join them for this event to support Kim, her family and her support group. Proceeds will go towards her medical bills.

The Voice for Clinton County’s Children is ready to share with you their planned events for 2021. Proceeds from the events remain in Clinton County supporting their mission to advocate and to serve in the best interests of children in our community. All safety precautions and pandemic guidelines will be followed by all event participants.

Roof Sit for Kids

April 30, St. Johns Big Boy, All Day

Join them for fellowship and a fundraiser to support their roof which houses essential advocacy work for Clinton County children and youth.

Stop in anytime for this outside event. Check out who is hanging out on Big Boy’s roof (weather permitting).
Special activities throughout the day, visit with Clinton County Advocates for children and youth and learn more about their essential services for Clinton County children and youth.

Will Your cape be ready? Organizers remain optimistic they will be able to host this event in person and virtually. However, the in-person component is subject to change based on any pandemic safety guidelines. They appreciate your understanding the decision to cancel the in-person component of the planned event may need to be made with little notice for the safety of our community.

K of C fish fries are back

The Knights of Columbus fish fries are scheduled for March 12, 19 and 26.

No advance orders will be accepted, and dinners will be drive thru only. One line only from North Drive.

 

Take out items are 1) Fried fish with steak fries, 2) Baked fish with Bake Potatoes. Sides include Green Beans, Coleslaw, Applesauce and Dinner Roll.

The K of C Hall is located at 1108 Old U.S. 27 in St. Johns.
