Becky was born May 13, 1954 in Gibraltar, MI. Her parents are Sarah Anne Ormerod (Pavalock Nierman) and the late Louis Dodge Pavalock.

Becky began her nursing career in 1987, earning her LPN and RN licenses. Later, she moved on to educate and train a new generation of CNAs. She focused her students on treating patients with dignity and compassion.

Becky struggled to balance her passion as a nurse and her love for her children. Even as a child herself, she would reach out and say, “Take my hand, I’ve got you.” Her very essence was the desire to fix and heal people.

Her step-brother, Mike Nierman, commented “Hey, it’s getting a little crowded up there, don’t you think?”

She will be lovingly remembered by her significant other, Floyd Finch; two surviving children, Andrew Devereaux (Rachel) and Lydia Peck (Joe); and her mother, Sally Pavalock Nierman.

Becky gave birth to four beautiful children. The following is in her own words:

“Tyara Norine Devereaux, Sunday’s child, July 1, 1973 at 9 pm. God Sweetly Blessed me. Abundantly.
Justin Hezzie Devereaux, Monday’s child, July 22, 1974, 4:31 am. God Richly Blessed me. Absolutely.
Andrew Kenneth Devereaux, Monday’s child, March 6, 1978, 7:52 pm. God Joyously Blessed me. Resoundingly.
Lydia Johanna-Cheri’ Pavalock, Monday’s child, July 4, 1994, 7:53 am. God so very beautifully, Graciously Blessed me. Prayerfully.
Eternally. Forever Blessed. Not for a moment do I forget.”

Becky was a member/associate of many motorcycle clubs. She was loved by many club members around Onondaga and Holly, as well as many other places across Michigan. For some, she was their “Ride or Die.” Becky claimed and loved her many “brothers and sisters.”

Her mission was to heal the world one person at a time. Her passion touched many lives. Along the way, she befriended many people, whom she never forgot.

Becky, as she liked to be called, was a devoted nurse for over 30 years and dedicated herself to her craft. She specialized in elderly care, but she mastered in love and compassion. Numerous times through her nursing career she created bonds with some very special people, people who would help mold her two sons into the men they are today. Even after her nursing career was cut short due to her long time health problems, she still devoted her time to taking care of her ailing mother.

Becky was also the best mother two wild sons could ask for. She loved her sons unconditionally, teaching them that Love is All You Need (She loved The Beatles!!!) and that a mother’s love is eternal. She also showed that same love to her sons friends, letting numerous friends stay with them when they needed it most.

When Becky was growing up; her favorite place to go to was Mackinac Island. She loved it so much that she worked on the Island at a bike shop for 2 summers when she was a teenager. Eventually she would take her sons to the island and it would become their favorite place to go to with her. Even though her final years resulted in numerous hospital and rehab stays, she always stayed positive and fought like a Warrior for her family. Her retirement years were spent helping raise her grandson who she loved more than anything in the world and enjoying the time she was finally able to have with her sons.

She is survived by her two sons Richard and Jonathan Deuel as well as her grandson Jonathan Deuel ll.
