Mandala Making Class, May 6

Come join us at the Art & Soul Gallery to create your own mandala on Saturday, May 6 from 12:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Each participant will be able to design mandalas on paper, then design and paint a final mandala on a 12″ wood board. The cost for this class is $47

Mandala art originally focused on creating an art piece that represents balance, designed within a circle that contains a symmetrical pattern, with each part representing a part of the cosmos or the deities that make up portions of the universe. The creative process of mandala making helps to find peace in the universe through balance. Mandalas can be made with a myriad of patterns and designs. It is all up to the artist what the pattern becomes and means to them. Mandalas can also be made simply for the artist to enjoy the process.
